Ukraine Watch #38 – Irina Vashchuk Discipio of Revived Soldiers Ukraine

Eight years ago, Irina was an American homemaker, born in Ukraine, raising her family and living her life. When Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 she saw a need and took action. She formed a nonprofit called Revived Soldiers Ukraine to help Ukrainian veterans and their families deal with injuries and loss. Since then she has raised a lot of money, organized volunteers from all walks of life, and helped a great deal of wounded heroes in their recovery from finding doctors to do complicated operations to getting soldiers fitted with prosthetic limbs. There is still a lot of work to do and she is looking for volunteers to help raise money as well as people with language skills to help as translators.
